With a little luck, Mijdrecht Maffia's Mirko Vervoort got control of the ball when Paskal Ayarza tried to sneak it across the goal line. KYRA FC's attentive Cheche Troche managed to snatch the ball when Kurt Holthuis made a throw-in in the 46th minute of the game. Truman Harrington showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Benjamin Moorlag, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

After a rather tough play, KYRA FC's Uriel Bartolome got a free kick in the 53rd minute. 61 minutes into the match, Edmund Nocny had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Mirko Vervoort. Mijdrecht Maffia's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Edmund Nocny was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. KYRA FC made a substitution.
