With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ricky Kalischer in the 5th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Elias Jordy saved Quimeras Jrs. from getting behind. In the 12th minute Aristides Villanueva shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elias Jordy saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Clemente Benvido stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alejandro Gaspard's shot from short distance in the 18th minute. After a rather tough play, Canalla Fuego's Ciro Rosini got a free kick in the 20th minute. With a little luck, Canalla Fuego's Clemente Benvido got control of the ball when Alejandro Gaspard tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 22nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Quimeras Jrs.'s goalkeeper Elias Jordy, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Clemente Benvido made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alejandro Gaspard in the 23rd minute of play. Elias Jordy came out of the goal in the 25th minute to try and stop a shot by Canalla Fuego's Aristides Villanueva. But to his dismay, Aristides Villanueva quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. The supporters of Canalla Fuego booed when Quimeras Jrs. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Roque Alfaro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Canalla Fuego's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Alejandro Gaspard 36 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-1. 44 minutes into the match, Canalla Fuego's Ricky Kalischer sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Elias Jordy narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Aristides Villanueva struck a weak shot in the 48th minute. Elias Jordy didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Canalla Fuego. Canalla Fuego's Carlos Aimar was substituted for Aristides Villanueva. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ricky Kalischer to make the kick off. If Carlos Aimar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 56thth minute of the game Alejandro Gaspard who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Canalla Fuego's Clemente Benvido was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alejandro Gaspard in the 59th minute of play forced Canalla Fuego's goalkeeper Clemente Benvido to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Through an outstanding action, after 60 minutes, Elias Jordy successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 61 minutes into the match, Canalla Fuego's goal looked a bit too open when Alejandro Gaspard came free, but Clemente Benvido reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 63 minutes had been played when some careless play by Canalla Fuego's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Sebastean Battaglia was slow to take the kick. During this time Quimeras Jrs.'s players had a chance to rest. Clemente Benvido showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alejandro Gaspard in the 95th minute of the match. After 96 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Canalla Fuego! The referee gave Quimeras Jrs. a penalty, 97 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Sebastean Battaglia, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Canalla Fuego's Clemente Benvido. 2-2. If Alejandro Gaspard had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 99th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gigel Iuonaș hit a great freekick 100 minutes into the match. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
