In the 18th minute 刘洋朗 shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marco Silvestri saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marco Silvestri took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ruben Damario, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 20 minutes SPALLETTE RETURNS's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was 潘冰耀 who took care of the corner kick. Gerard Swee showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Augusto Bevilacqua in the 26th minute of the match. Yang Wen hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. In the 30th minute Achille Tullio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gerard Swee saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 32nd minute of the match, Vygandas Jančiauskas tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Gerard Swee saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Hamburger SV's Gerard Swee played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vygandas Jančiauskas in the 38th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 42nd minute, Augusto Bevilacqua managed to get in a good position for a shot. SPALLETTE RETURNS's supporters rose to their feet, but Augusto Bevilacqua was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. SPALLETTE RETURNS's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. The SPALLETTE RETURNS players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Hamburger SV were winning 0-2.

Hamburger SV's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
