The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Kryspin Cupial made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Namık Kemal Tuğbay in the 3rd minute of play. In the 5th minute of the match FENERBAHÇE OSCAR got a corner. SSV Ulm 1846's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Abelardo Quintun ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on FENERBAHÇE OSCAR's corner Abelardo Quintun fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Kryspin Cupial quite easily take care of the ball. 6 minutes into the match, FENERBAHÇE OSCAR's goal looked a bit too open when Don Merlot came free, but Duman Talayman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bülent Özbas made in the 7th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Erdoğan Cevar immediately put the ball in play. In the 8th minute the ball was on its way in behind FENERBAHÇE OSCAR's goalkeeper Duman Talayman, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 10th minute Don Merlot shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Duman Talayman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kryspin Cupial showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Namık Kemal Tuğbay in the 12th minute of the match. Niclas Monschke scored 0-1 in the 15th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Duman Talayman, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Albrecht Bosbach hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, FENERBAHÇE OSCAR's İshak Tolun got a free kick in the 20th minute. After a defensive mix-up in FENERBAHÇE OSCAR's zone, Niclas Monschke stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Duman Talayman came out of the goal and Niclas Monschke tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Duman Talayman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Don Merlot, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Niclas Monschke took the ball and in the 25 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Duman Talayman. Duman Talayman dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Don Merlot might have been able to make a better finish in the 29th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Duman Talayman. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Don Merlot ran back to his position shaking his head. SSV Ulm 1846's Sven-Olof Lilja managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Bülent Özbas in the 30 minute of the game. In the 33rd minute Don Merlot shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Duman Talayman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The FENERBAHÇE OSCAR fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Duman Talayman should have stopped the shot. In the 45th minute the ball was on its way in behind FENERBAHÇE OSCAR's goalkeeper Duman Talayman, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 47 minutes into the game, SSV Ulm 1846's Don Merlot nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Duman Talayman made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-5. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-5.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Namık Kemal Tuğbay to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Don Merlot in the 57th minute of play forced FENERBAHÇE OSCAR's goalkeeper Duman Talayman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. SSV Ulm 1846's Kryspin Cupial played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Erdoğan Cevar in the 59th minute of play. Kryspin Cupial showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Erdoğan Cevar, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. After 62 minutes of play, SSV Ulm 1846's Niclas Monschke made it 0-6 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Duman Talayman was left in no man's land by his defense there! 72 minutes into the game, Nebi Kabadayı was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FENERBAHÇE OSCAR's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SSV Ulm 1846 the free kick. Nebi Kabadayı hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice moves Niclas Monschke could shoot a difficult shot in the 73rd minute, which Duman Talayman however easily saved by the left post. A hard shot 75 in the game by Niclas Monschke from a close distance when the talented Duman Talayman managed to make a qualified save. FENERBAHÇE OSCAR's players were relieved. Duman Talayman was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Don Merlot showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-7 in the 77 minute of play. Bülent Özbas made in the 80th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Nebi Kabadayı. In the 82nd minute, Don Merlot ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Duman Talayman was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-8. Don Merlot received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Duman Talayman came out and tried to block the shot, but Don Merlot slotted it home off the left post making it 0-9 in the 85th minute. After 93 minutes FENERBAHÇE OSCAR's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Sven-Olof Lilja who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Sven-Olof Lilja got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Duman Talayman quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 95 minutes into the game, Niclas Monschke cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-10. Duman Talayman was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The SSV Ulm 1846 players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
