Adelaide's Douglas Christian proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 7th minute of the match, managed to save Adelaide from getting a goal against them. In the 9th minute, Neale Norton hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Douglas Christian made a fantastic save in the 10th minute, when Alonzo Atarrabi sent off a good shot on target. Alonzo Atarrabi's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Douglas Christian read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 11th minute of play. In the 18th minute the ball was on its way in behind Adelaide's goalkeeper Douglas Christian, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Alonzo Atarrabi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Alonzo Atarrabi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Douglas Christian tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Darren Paynter had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Alonzo Atarrabi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 30th minute of the match, but Douglas Christian made a huge save. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

Alonzo Atarrabi succeeded in the game's 55th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 4-0. 58 minutes into the game, Alonzo Atarrabi cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-0. Douglas Christian was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Ethan Moorby was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 69 minutes into the match. lןןl Plebe Del Emperador made a substitution. Douglas Christian showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Martin Rodriguez in the 96th minute of the match. When the referee ended the match the lןןl Plebe Del Emperador players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
