The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Adam Hrdina stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Diego Forlan's shot from short distance in the 5th minute. After a rather tough play, Harry Noble House FC's Diego Forlan got a free kick in the 7th minute. If Michal Hudák had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 12 minutes into the match, Harry Noble House FC's goal looked a bit too open when Michal Hudák came free, but Ovidio Vagrande reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Michal Hudák struck a weak shot in the 13th minute. Ovidio Vagrande didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for AFK Petržalka. In the 15th minute the ball was on its way in behind Harry Noble House FC's goalkeeper Ovidio Vagrande, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. It was a well-played corner which Igor Bališ managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. After 28 played minutes Harry Noble House FC got a freekick which was hit by Boleslaw Sokol. Michal Hudák fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ovidio Vagrande having to interfere. In the 32nd minute Michal Hudák shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ovidio Vagrande saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Michal Hudák's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ovidio Vagrande was relentless in the 34th minute of the game. After 36 minutes of play, AFK Petržalka's Michal Hudák made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ovidio Vagrande was left in no man's land by his defense there! Ovidio Vagrande showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Michal Hudák in the 45th minute of the match. When Mieszko Mirowski fell near the penalty area in the 46th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Harry Noble House FC's protests and gave Mieszko Mirowski a yellow card for diving instead. Michal Hudák's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ovidio Vagrande read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 47th minute of play. Ovidio Vagrande came out of the goal in the 47th minute to try and stop a shot by AFK Petržalka's Michal Hudák. But to his dismay, Michal Hudák quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Harry Noble House FC's Dariusz Ludwa was substituted for Diego Forlan. Harry Noble House FC made a substitution. Anthoon Baecke replaced Konrad Komanski. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Dariusz Ludwa to make the kick off. 64 minutes into the match, AFK Petržalka's Michal Hudák sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ovidio Vagrande narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Michal Hudák in the 66thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Ovidio Vagrande, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Harry Noble House FC's Zeledon Sagaseta managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Vernon De Marco in the 78 minute of the game. After some fancy dribbling in the 80th minute, Michal Hudák managed to get in a good position for a shot. AFK Petržalka's supporters rose to their feet, but Michal Hudák was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ovidio Vagrande breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to AFK Petržalka getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Stanko Lobotka hit a great ball. Adam Hrdina showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Damian Czeberowski in the 84th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Michal Hudák in the 87th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ovidio Vagrande saved Harry Noble House FC from getting behind. Ovidio Vagrande took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Michal Hudák, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dariusz Ludwa blasted a shot towards the goal in the 98th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Adam Hrdina having to make a save. Adam Hrdina showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dariusz Ludwa, who was totally free with the ball in the 98th minute.
