Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Michal Hudák in the 25th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Arkadiusz Barniszke prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 26th minute the ball was on its way in behind FC Barcelona's goalkeeper Arkadiusz Barniszke, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a rather tough play, FC Barcelona's Lech Polek got a free kick in the 28th minute. In the 29th minute, Michal Hudák ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Arkadiusz Barniszke took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Michal Hudák, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-6.

The wind increased when Michal Hudák made the kick off in the second half. When Karol Gozdowski fell near the penalty area in the 53rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Barcelona's protests and gave Karol Gozdowski a yellow card for diving instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Korneliusz Pawlak in the 84th minute of play forced AFK Petržalka's goalkeeper Adam Hrdina to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Arkadiusz Barniszke was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Michal Hudák showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-14 in the 86 minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Michal Hudák in the 90th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Arkadiusz Barniszke saved FC Barcelona from getting behind. 92 minutes into the game, Michal Hudák cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-15. Arkadiusz Barniszke was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. AFK Petržalka played a much better game than FC Barcelona and deserved their victory. The FC Barcelona players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
