In the 26th minute, Pedro Olguín reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Paco Dean. The goal made the score 1-0. After a defensive mix-up in Torreoncito's zone, Zachary Naskrent stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Qi Guo Yue came out of the goal and Zachary Naskrent tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 31 minutes into the match, MKS Legion Częstochowa's goal looked a bit too open when Pedro Olguín came free, but Paco Dean reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 32 minutes had been played when some careless play by MKS Legion Częstochowa's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Pedro Olguín was slow to take the kick. During this time Torreoncito's players had a chance to rest. Paco Dean made a fantastic save in the 33rd minute, when Pedro Olguín sent off a good shot on target. In the 35th match minute, Torreoncito was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Niceto Tenorio to maneuver through the defense. In the 40th minute MKS Legion Częstochowa were awarded a corner. Valter Festas went to the cornerflag to take it. Borys Okopny recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Torreoncito's Elodio Faine was substituted for Niceto Tenorio. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Valter Festas made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Elodio Faine in the 55th minute of play forced MKS Legion Częstochowa's goalkeeper Paco Dean to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 57th minute of the match, Czeslaw Banan got a very nice opportunity to score, but Qi Guo Yue was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post.
