With a couple of smart ball manuevers Garth Brough in the 11th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Aírton Queirós saved Quebra Ossos FC from getting behind. In the 25th minute, Garth Brough ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Aírton Queirós was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Australian Youth Academy's Keylor Navas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sílvio Corrêa in the 28th minute of play. Aírton Queirós stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Garth Brough's shot from short distance in the 30th minute. After 35 minutes of play, Australian Youth Academy's Garth Brough made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Garth Brough did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 0-11 to the left of a surprised Aírton Queirós 76 minutes into the match. Australian Youth Academy's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
