Don John was slow to take the kick. During this time FISHBONE 06's players had a chance to rest. Stelios Melas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Branislav Cokić in the 11th minute of play. Joélson Laguna who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 12thth minute tested the skills of Stelios Melas when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Gavino Ubarna made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Odysseas Lazaroglou in the 13th minute of play. 19 minutes into the game, Odysseas Lazaroglou cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Gavino Ubarna was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Stelios Melas prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Gavino Ubarna made a fantastic save in the 84th minute, when Takis Rodostoglou sent off a good shot on target. AEK KAVALAS FC's Stelios Melas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rekib Božić in the 85th minute of play. Ralph Meul made in the 88th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Muamer Hamdić however managed to control. In the 89th minute Branislav Cokić shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stelios Melas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Branislav Cokić in the 92nd minute of play forced AEK KAVALAS FC's goalkeeper Stelios Melas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
