Spectators: 147 (Terracing: 111, Seating: 34, VIP seats: 2) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Vitório Lago started the match with the kick off. Júlio Porto came out of the goal in the 7th minute to try and stop a shot by Palestra do Interior's Vitório Lago. But to his dismay, Vitório Lago quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. 9 minutes into the game, Evaristo Mesquita was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Fúria Futebol Clube's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Palestra do Interior the free kick. After 11th play minutes Romário Barbosa shot 0-2, a short shot which went by Júlio Porto and just under the crossbar into goal. 17 minutes into the match, Palestra do Interior's Romário Barbosa sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Júlio Porto narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Vitório Lago's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Júlio Porto was relentless in the 21st minute of the game. Fúria Futebol Clube's Evaristo Mesquita got his second yellow card of the match in the 21st minute. The referee ordered Evaristo Mesquita off the ground. After a rather tough play, Fúria Futebol Clube's Evaristo Mesquita got a free kick in the 22nd minute. In the 26th minute, Cristian Pernambucano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Vitório Lago had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 30 minutes, Boyisana Mnisi mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Palestra do Interior and the Fúria Futebol Clube players grew even worse after the yellow card. Júlio Porto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vitório Lago in the 32nd minute of play. After 33 minutes, Romário Barbosa made it 0-3 with a short kick to the right side. Fúria Futebol Clube's Júlio Porto tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Júlio Porto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vitório Lago, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. A collision led to Fúria Futebol Clube getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Cristian Pernambucano hit a great ball. In the 40th minute of the match Palestra do Interior got a corner. Fúria Futebol Clube's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Vitório Lago ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner first didn't look so dangerous but when Boyisana Mnisi got the ball he succeeded in some way to get through the defenders to deliver a very hard score. Result 0-4. 40 minutes into the match. 43 minutes into the match, Vitório Lago had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Júlio Porto. Fúria Futebol Clube's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Vitório Lago was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-5.

Júlio Porto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Romário Barbosa, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. Júlio Porto was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Vitório Lago showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-7 in the 55 minute of play. In the 58thth minute of the game Vitório Lago who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Fúria Futebol Clube's Júlio Porto was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Palestra do Interior made a substitution. Ernani Velasco replaced Herbert Pankowski. After 71 minutes Fúria Futebol Clube's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Boyisana Mnisi who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Boyisana Mnisi almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Fúria Futebol Clube's Júlio Porto did a great save. Jorginho Ferreira did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 0-8 to the left of a surprised Júlio Porto 73 minutes into the match. Percival Cruz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Romário Barbosa kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Júlio Porto. That made the score 0-9 in the 79 minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Percival Cruz in the 82nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Júlio Porto prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Percival Cruz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. With a little luck, Fúria Futebol Clube's Júlio Porto got control of the ball when Percival Cruz tried to sneak it across the goal line. Júlio Porto was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Romário Barbosa showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-10 in the 88 minute of play. 92 minutes into the match, Fúria Futebol Clube's goal looked a bit too open when Romário Barbosa came free, but Júlio Porto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 93 played minutes Fúria Futebol Clube got a freekick which was hit by Cristian Pernambucano. Percival Cruz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Júlio Porto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Durval Rossi charged in rather forcefully in the 96th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Durval Rossi the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 96th minute, Durval Rossi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Palestra do Interior played a much better game than Fúria Futebol Clube and deserved their victory. The Fúria Futebol Clube players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
