An unexpectedly hard shot by Bashar Al Azra in the 45th minute of play forced Ampthill FC's goalkeeper Bernardo Abeijon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Líbano's Nour al Din Hamid got a free kick in the 46th minute. 47 minutes into the match, Ampthill FC's Orhan Ortanca sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Hisham Abdul Nasser narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The Ampthill FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Líbano were winning 0-1.

Líbano walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
