With a little luck, Calesso FC's Serginho Nogueira got control of the ball when Michal Majdoch tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Hélio Donatello got free with Serginho Nogueira in the 18th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Eric Gary made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emil Genev in the 19th minute of play. Eric Gary stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Emil Genev's shot from short distance in the 19th minute. 33 minutes into the game, Calesso FC's Cícero Pereira nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Eric Gary made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. After a rather tough play, Jagiellonia Denver's 蔡伟洲 got a free kick in the 36th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 37th minute, Kåre Wahlstrøm managed to get in a good position for a shot. Calesso FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Kåre Wahlstrøm was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eric Gary breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Eric Gary showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emil Genev in the 39th minute of the match. But to his dismay, Kåre Wahlstrøm quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. 47 minutes into the match, Jagiellonia Denver's goal looked a bit too open when Emil Genev came free, but Eric Gary reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Michal Majdoch to make the kick off. After 53 minutes of play, Jagiellonia Denver's Hélio Donatello made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Serginho Nogueira was left in no man's land by his defense there! Stanford Whitten kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. Eric Gary showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sufi Orun in the 60th minute of the match. Jagiellonia Denver made a substitution. With an all-out effort, Calesso FC's Eric Gary threw himself towards the right post 67 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Emil Genev, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 74th minute Kåre Wahlstrøm shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eric Gary saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kåre Wahlstrøm could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 80th minute of the match, but Eric Gary made a huge save. Jagiellonia Denver's Eric Gary proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 82nd minute of the match, managed to save Jagiellonia Denver from getting a goal against them. Serginho Nogueira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Florence Diaz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Calesso FC's Serginho Nogueira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Florence Diaz in the 83rd minute of play.
