Traian Traian kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. Genaro Montez came out of the goal in the 7th minute to try and stop a shot by 1909 Tarnovia's Zdzislaw Biraga. But to his dismay, Zdzislaw Biraga quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Genaro Montez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zdzislaw Biraga, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. 17 minutes into the match, Fotbal Club Vaslui's goal looked a bit too open when Zdzislaw Biraga came free, but Genaro Montez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to 1909 Tarnovia getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Ludomir Werra hit a great ball. After 23 minutes, Traian Traian made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. 1909 Tarnovia's Maksymilian Prusinowski tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 29 minutes into the match, 1909 Tarnovia's goalkeeper Maksymilian Prusinowski had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Traian Traian. After having played for 30 minutes, Zenon Hetman managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. 1909 Tarnovia's supporters crossed their fingers, but Zenon Hetman was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Wellington Neves blasted a shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Maksymilian Prusinowski having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Traian Traian in the 34th minute of play forced 1909 Tarnovia's goalkeeper Maksymilian Prusinowski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ulryk Podolski made in the 36th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Fotbal Club Vaslui's Teodor Huștiu. Toader Muncelean hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. Genaro Montez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zdzislaw Biraga, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. With a little luck, 1909 Tarnovia's Maksymilian Prusinowski got control of the ball when Traian Traian tried to sneak it across the goal line. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The wind increased when Borys Majorski made the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Traian Traian in the 52nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Maksymilian Prusinowski prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 58th minute the ball was on its way in behind 1909 Tarnovia's goalkeeper Maksymilian Prusinowski, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 1909 Tarnovia made a substitution. Karol Pisarcik replaced Jerzy Grocholski. A sloppy throw-in by Ulryk Podolski in the 64th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Fotbal Club Vaslui's Teodor Huștiu. After a defensive mix-up in 1909 Tarnovia's zone, Traian Traian stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Maksymilian Prusinowski came out of the goal and Traian Traian tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 69 minutes into the match, 1909 Tarnovia's goal looked a bit too open when Traian Traian came free, but Maksymilian Prusinowski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 70th minute Fotbal Club Vaslui were awarded a corner. Teodor Huștiu went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner went over the outstretched arms of 1909 Tarnovia's goalie and right to Wellington Neves. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. 1909 Tarnovia's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. After a rather tough play, Fotbal Club Vaslui's Toader Muncelean got a free kick in the 75th minute. Maksymilian Prusinowski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Traian Traian, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Traian Traian had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Traian Traian in the 79th minute of play forced 1909 Tarnovia's goalkeeper Maksymilian Prusinowski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Wellington Neves received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Maksymilian Prusinowski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fotbal Club Vaslui's Marcu Piţurcă was substituted for Gică Hăulică. Fotbal Club Vaslui's Eliodor Bosânceanu was substituted for Teodor Huștiu. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
