After 17 played minutes Cléberson Oliveira could catch the ball where he stood relatively free a bit outside the goal and without hesitation he completed 1-1 into the left cross. Ahmet Nasir Başayoğlu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jess Johnson having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arif Buğra Talaş in the 74th minute of play forced IFK Karskrona's goalkeeper Jess Johnson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Arif Buğra Talaş received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Jess Johnson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 89th minute of the match, Arif Buğra Talaş tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Jess Johnson saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. László Pál-Szabó kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. After 91 played minutes IFK Karskrona got a freekick which was hit by Magnus Billström. When László Pál-Szabó came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the PMFC 2018 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that László Pál-Szabó couldn't finish the play. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
