Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Carl Brandin to make the kick off. 56 minutes into the match, TotoRACING's Carroll Gentenaar sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ben Foster narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Cesar Macario struck a weak shot in the 64th minute. Ben Foster didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for TotoRACING. Avantgarde's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Carroll Gentenaar was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-1. Nataniel de la Rosa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ingvar Karlsson in the 90th minute of the match. Nataniel de la Rosa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carl Brandin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Carl Brandin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nataniel de la Rosa having to interfere. Nataniel de la Rosa stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Carl Brandin's shot from short distance in the 96th minute. TotoRACING's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
