Håkan Šuker blasted a shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Justo Ruy having to make a save. In the 77th minute the ball was on its way in behind NUMBA's goalkeeper Justo Ruy, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Aristide Beșliu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jonatan Palban, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
