The supporters of RED DEVIL booed when Nova Venécia-ES was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dino Tavares didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tomás Romo received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Robinho de Salles came out and tried to block the shot, but Tomás Romo slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 11th minute. 17 minutes into the match, RED DEVIL's goal looked a bit too open when Natã Quintal came free, but Ali Cafer Konuralp reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. RED DEVIL's Ali Cafer Konuralp played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dino Tavares in the 19th minute of play. Ali Cafer Konuralp showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luís Gustavo Botelho in the 21st minute of the match.
