The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Ronaldinho Fenomeno blasted a shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Baltazar Adán having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lesardo Moreno in the 24th minute of play forced AS Pikachuzim's goalkeeper Hristofor Borchev to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 27 minutes had been played when some careless play by AGT Team's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Santos Rallo was slow to take the kick. During this time AS Pikachuzim's players had a chance to rest. The corner led to AS Pikachuzim's Jacinto Veiga getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. 29 minutes into the match, AS Pikachuzim's goal looked a bit too open when Sindo Pabon came free, but Hristofor Borchev reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 30th match minute, AGT Team was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by 姜战广 to maneuver through the defense. AGT Team's Baltazar Adán played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Santos Rallo in the 31st minute of play. In the 32nd minute AS Pikachuzim were awarded a corner. Santos Rallo went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led AS Pikachuzim's Santos Rallo to fire away a dangerous shot which Baltazar Adán despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 36th minute Ronaldinho Fenomeno shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Baltazar Adán saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Zinedine Benzema to make the kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Arif Oğuz Semdin in the 73rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Baltazar Adán saved AGT Team from getting behind.
