FK Crvena Zvezda's supporters rose to their feet, but Claes Bratt was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eulalio Jakes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to La Ballenera getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Eustacio Ubendu hit a great ball. When Folke Odeen came up free with the goalie in the 24th minute, the FK Crvena Zvezda fans jumped to their feet.
