The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 3 minutes into the match, Golden Lions FC's goal looked a bit too open when Jorrin Briones came free, but Anders Lundqvist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 5 minutes into the match, Rapsodas Red Devils FC's goalkeeper Ferenc Tököli had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mats Nyström. 7 minutes into the match, Jorrin Briones notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Golden Lions FC's Anders Lundqvist. Anders Lundqvist was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Loco Durazno recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 11th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience was convinced that Jorrin Briones's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Anders Lundqvist was relentless in the 13th minute of the game. Golden Lions FC's Anders Lundqvist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jorrin Briones in the 15th minute of play. 17 minutes into the match, Rapsodas Red Devils FC's goal looked a bit too open when Loco Durazno came free, but Ferenc Tököli reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Loco Durazno got free with Ferenc Tököli in the 21st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Golden Lions FC's Anders Lundqvist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jorrin Briones in the 27th minute of play. 31 minutes into the match, Rapsodas Red Devils FC's goal looked a bit too open when Cosme Larpe came free, but Ferenc Tököli reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Loco Durazno came up free with the goalie in the 41st minute, the Golden Lions FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Loco Durazno couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jorrin Briones in the 45th minute of play forced Golden Lions FC's goalkeeper Anders Lundqvist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

After a defensive mix-up in Rapsodas Red Devils FC's zone, Mats Nyström stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ferenc Tököli came out of the goal and Mats Nyström tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jorrin Briones fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anders Lundqvist having to interfere. Rapsodas Red Devils FC made a substitution. Jerrold Taranco replaced Luís Paulo da Fonseca. Rapsodas Red Devils FC made a substitution. Cristiano Salah replaced Jorrin Briones. In the 63rd minute, Damián Alcazar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Rapsodas Red Devils FC reached it. After a rather tough play, Golden Lions FC's Bebben Johansson got a free kick in the 92nd minute. In the 93rd minute, Jerrold Taranco made a precise shot to the right of Anders Lundqvist. Golden Lions FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Rapsodas Red Devils FC played a much better game than Golden Lions FC and deserved their victory. The Golden Lions FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
