Cornelio Guerrero fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Santino Mora having to interfere. Club Deportivo Santiago's Santino Mora played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alberto Tonete in the 11th minute of play. Richard Textex made an important save on a dangerous shot by Evelio Terres in the 13th minute. In the 15th minute Alberto Tonete shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Santino Mora saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Club Deportivo Santiago's Santino Mora played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alberto Tonete in the 17th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alberto Tonete in the 17th minute of play forced Club Deportivo Santiago's goalkeeper Santino Mora to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 18thth minute of the game Alberto Tonete who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Club Deportivo Santiago's Santino Mora was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Santino Mora made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alberto Tonete in the 19th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Alberto Tonete's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Santino Mora was relentless in the 23rd minute of the game. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alberto Tonete in the 24th minute a chance for a shot on goal. Club Deportivo Santiago's Santino Mora played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alberto Tonete in the 42nd minute of play. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Alberto Tonete to strike the kick off in the second half. When Newpi Academy's Alberto Tonete in the 51st minute got a chance for a shot 51st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Alberto Tonete hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. 59 minutes into the game, Cornelio Guerrero recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Santino Mora. Cornelio Guerrero showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-3. Alberto Tonete who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 63rdth minute tested the skills of Santino Mora when he managed to save the team from getting behind. When Newpi Academy's Alberto Tonete in the 64th minute got a chance for a shot 64th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Newpi Academy's Antonio Perrando was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Santino Mora in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jairo Adames during the 66th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Newpi Academy booed when Club Deportivo Santiago was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jairo Adames didn't get a good kick on the ball. 74 minutes had been played when some careless play by Club Deportivo Santiago's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Antonio Perrando was slow to take the kick. During this time Newpi Academy's players had a chance to rest. A sloppy throw-in by Zuri Espinosa in the 80th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Newpi Academy's Gavino Lauren. Santino Mora took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alberto Tonete, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 83rd minute of the match, Alberto Tonete got a very nice opportunity to score, but Santino Mora was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 84th minute Newpi Academy were awarded a corner. Antonio Perrando went to the cornerflag to take it. When Alberto Tonete came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the Newpi Academy fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alberto Tonete couldn't finish the play. Santino Mora made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alberto Tonete in the 93rd minute. In the 94th minute, Zuri Espinosa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Santino Mora didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Alberto Tonete went, in the 95th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-7 was the resulting score. Newpi Academy's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
