After a rather tough play, Limus Nunggal's Zulfikar Kaimu got a free kick in the 10th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Edoardo Meo got free with Mandra Suherman in the 17th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 18 minutes into the match, Sorci Viola's goal looked a bit too open when Tantan Sundoro came free, but Armando Bonelli reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Limus Nunggal getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Armand Irawan hit a great ball. Mandra Suherman made a fantastic save in the 23rd minute, when Edoardo Meo sent off a good shot on target. Sorci Viola's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Antonello Tarantini in the 24th minute. Sorci Viola's Edoardo Meo was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Mandra Suherman in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Cesare Loreto might have been able to make a better finish in the 26th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Mandra Suherman. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cesare Loreto ran back to his position shaking his head. Mandra Suherman made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alvise Urbani in the 26th minute. Tantan Sundoro's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Armando Bonelli read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 30th minute of play. Edoardo Meo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 35 minutes into the game, Limus Nunggal's Tantan Sundoro nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Armando Bonelli made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. A collision led to Limus Nunggal getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Panji Kalengkongan hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tantan Sundoro in the 38th minute of play forced Sorci Viola's goalkeeper Armando Bonelli to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Limus Nunggal's Mandra Suherman proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 44th minute of the match, managed to save Limus Nunggal from getting a goal against them. With a little luck, Limus Nunggal's Mandra Suherman got control of the ball when Edoardo Meo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Tantan Sundoro hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tantan Sundoro in the 51st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Armando Bonelli saved Sorci Viola from getting behind. Armando Bonelli stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tantan Sundoro's shot from short distance in the 51st minute. Sorci Viola's Armando Bonelli proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 53rd minute of the match, managed to save Sorci Viola from getting a goal against them. In the 55th minute Tantan Sundoro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Armando Bonelli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Limus Nunggal's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Zulfikar Kaimu in the 56th minute. A nice corner shot did that Zulfikar Kaimu got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Armando Bonelli quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Sorci Viola's Armando Bonelli played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tantan Sundoro in the 58th minute of play. Armando Bonelli made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tantan Sundoro in the 65th minute. When Sorci Viola's Alvise Urbani in the 72nd minute got a chance for a shot 72nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Limus Nunggal's goalie prevented a goal. Marwal Kartiwa could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 73rd minute of the match, but Armando Bonelli made a huge save. Mandra Suherman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bruno Egidi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Limus Nunggal's Viggo Skark was substituted for Panji Kalengkongan. Armando Bonelli showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Endi Harmoko in the 84th minute of the match. 91 minutes into the game, Endi Harmoko recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Armando Bonelli. Endi Harmoko showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-3. The Sorci Viola manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing Limus Nunggal to win.
