In the 20th match minute, Culo de Vieja FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mariano Michael to maneuver through the defense. Pedro Sendoa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cullan Prunty in the 23rd minute of play. In the 24th minute Ciarán McCollion shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Sendoa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Knocktemple FC's Boyle McJohn proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 27th minute of the match, managed to save Knocktemple FC from getting a goal against them. In the 29th minute of the match Culo de Vieja FC got a corner. Knocktemple FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Teodosio Ibañez ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Alvaro Erramun got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Boyle McJohn quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Pedro Sendoa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Brazil McPaul, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. Mariano Michael fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Boyle McJohn having to interfere. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ciarán McCollion made a kick off. When the match had gone on for 62 minutes, Cosme Ermengol put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Boyle McJohn. 66 minutes into the match, Culo de Vieja FC's goalkeeper Pedro Sendoa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Críostóir McWilliam. Pedro Sendoa didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ciarán McCollion went, in the 68th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. The audience thought a goal was coming when Críostóir McWilliam got free with Pedro Sendoa in the 70th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Dewain Tracy recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 74th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 76 minutes, Leonel Erramu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Culo de Vieja FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Leonel Erramu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 87 minutes into the game, Knocktemple FC's Brazil McPaul nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Pedro Sendoa made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-4.
