With a couple of smart ball manuevers Axel Ree in the 5th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dumitru Berca saved VIP from getting behind. Dumitru Berca took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Axel Ree, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 7 minutes VIP's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Fidel Havier who took care of the corner kick. Sebastian Ţugui could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 10th minute of the match, but Bøje Dyssen made a huge save. Monks in Robes's Bøje Dyssen proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 11th minute of the match, managed to save Monks in Robes from getting a goal against them. Bøje Dyssen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dobri Karapetrov in the 16th minute of the match. In the 19th match minute, VIP was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ionuț Cerchez to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of VIP booed when Monks in Robes was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Júlio de Lara didn't get a good kick on the ball. Axel Ree might have been able to make a better finish in the 24th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Dumitru Berca. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Axel Ree ran back to his position shaking his head. Dumitru Berca took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Axel Ree, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 29 minutes, Axel Ree managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Monks in Robes's supporters crossed their fingers, but Axel Ree was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 30th minute, VIP's Sebastian Ţugui dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. 33 minutes into the match, Monks in Robes's goal looked a bit too open when Sebastian Ţugui came free, but Bøje Dyssen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Axel Ree might have been able to make a better finish in the 38th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Dumitru Berca. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Axel Ree ran back to his position shaking his head. 38 minutes into the match, VIP's goal looked a bit too open when Axel Ree came free, but Dumitru Berca reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Monks in Robes's Bøje Dyssen proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 39th minute of the match, managed to save Monks in Robes from getting a goal against them. In the 41st match minute, VIP was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dumitru Podgoreanu to maneuver through the defense. Bøje Dyssen made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dumitru Podgoreanu in the 44th minute. Axel Ree's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dumitru Berca read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 46th minute of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Dobri Karapetrov was the one to do the kick off. Sebastian Ţugui took the ball and in the 52 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Bøje Dyssen. Bøje Dyssen dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Monks in Robes were awarded a corner in the 60th minute after VIP's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Fidel Havier took the corner. After 67 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for VIP! VIP:s Dumitru Berca showed great skill when he stopped Axel Ree:s penalty. Dumitru Berca made a fantastic save in the 69th minute, when Albinus Alking sent off a good shot on target. The audience thought a goal was coming when Albinus Alking got free with Dumitru Berca in the 72nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 74th minute Sebastian Ţugui shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bøje Dyssen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 76 minutes into the match, VIP's goal looked a bit too open when Axel Ree came free, but Dumitru Berca reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bøje Dyssen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dobri Karapetrov, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. VIP's Dumitru Berca played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Axel Ree in the 80th minute of play. Bøje Dyssen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ştefan Coșereanu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Joachim Mæhle kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. After 95 minutes of play, Monks in Robes's Axel Ree made it 4-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Dumitru Berca was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 98 played minutes Axel Ree rounded VIP's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 4-2. Monks in Robes's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
