Pandilla Cobayeril's attentive Rogelio Tuste managed to snatch the ball when Guilherme Loureiro made a throw-in in the 13th minute of the game. Borys Gruchacz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gong Yi Feng, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. In the 36th minute, Dorival Alvarenga got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Renascer's Edgard Linhares got a free kick in the 38th minute. A collision led to Renascer getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Luisão Favoretto hit a great ball. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dorival Alvarenga couldn't finish the play. Gong Yi Feng's late challenge caught a Pandilla Cobayeril's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gong Yi Feng helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Pandilla Cobayeril booed when Renascer was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position.
