José Maria Carvalho took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Naci Cumhur, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Naci Cumhur in the 10th minute of play forced Clube Atlético Mineiro's goalkeeper José Maria Carvalho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Jude Bellingham had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Recai Hürmüz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jude Bellingham's shot from short distance in the 17th minute. Jude Bellingham blasted a shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Recai Hürmüz having to make a save. Jude Bellingham took the ball and in the 22 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Recai Hürmüz. Recai Hürmüz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. Naci Cumhur took the ball and in the 25 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised José Maria Carvalho. Recai Hürmüz came out of the goal in the 29th minute to try and stop a shot by Clube Atlético Mineiro's Ernani Mesquita. But to his dismay, Ernani Mesquita quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-4. The audience was convinced that Jude Bellingham's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Recai Hürmüz was relentless in the 38th minute of the game. In the 43rd minute, Clube Atlético Mineiro's Vítor Coelho seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Vítor Coelho the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Clube Atlético Mineiro protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Vítor Coelho had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. After 42 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Clube Atlético Mineiro! Behlül Ilgın shot the penalty kick right outside the post. ARAKLISPOR's Recai Hürmüz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jude Bellingham in the 46th minute of play. In the 47th minute, Romário Ronaldo made a precise shot to the right of Recai Hürmüz. ARAKLISPOR's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-6.

The wind increased when Behlül Ilgın made the kick off in the second half. Through an outstanding action, after 52 minutes, Recai Hürmüz successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Alfredão da Costa came free with the goalkeeper in the 53rd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Recai Hürmüz could save by the left post. Recai Hürmüz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jude Bellingham, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 56 minutes had been played when some careless play by ARAKLISPOR's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Romário Ronaldo was slow to take the kick. During this time Clube Atlético Mineiro's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Clube Atlético Mineiro's Romário Ronaldo to fire away a dangerous shot which Recai Hürmüz despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. ARAKLISPOR's Recai Hürmüz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 58th minute of the match, managed to save ARAKLISPOR from getting a goal against them. José Maria Carvalho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Naci Cumhur in the 59th minute of the match. After 60 minutes Clube Atlético Mineiro's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Behlül Ilgın who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Behlül Ilgın almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Clube Atlético Mineiro's José Maria Carvalho did a great save. Naci Cumhur took the ball and in the 63 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised José Maria Carvalho. Recai Hürmüz was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-7. 75 minutes into the match, Clube Atlético Mineiro's Ramón Negri sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Recai Hürmüz narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Recai Hürmüz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jeferson Tavares, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. ARAKLISPOR's Recai Hürmüz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 88th minute of the match, managed to save ARAKLISPOR from getting a goal against them. In the 89th minute, Ernani Mesquita made a precise shot to the right of Recai Hürmüz. ARAKLISPOR's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-10. Fadıl Peşrev hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. In the 92nd minute of the match Romário Ronaldo shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Recai Hürmüz showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Clube Atlético Mineiro walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
