Dominic Huyghens showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arévalo Miñaca, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. 19 minutes into the game, Alto Valle FC's Sebastian Foro nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Arne Rusterholz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Tiburcio Donio kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. If Arévalo Miñaca had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 28 minutes into the match, Alto Valle FC's goal looked a bit too open when Arévalo Miñaca came free, but Dominic Huyghens reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dominic Huyghens stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Arévalo Miñaca's shot from short distance in the 29th minute. The audience was convinced that Arévalo Miñaca's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dominic Huyghens was relentless in the 32nd minute of the game. Dominic Huyghens was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.

In the 64th minute Arévalo Miñaca shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dominic Huyghens saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Arévalo Miñaca sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal.
