Olímpico FC's Geovânio Hoffmann played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Doğaner Ulutay in the 4th minute of play. Geovânio Hoffmann showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Erasmo Bermudez in the 5th minute of the match. Departamento Deshabitado's 邓真义 played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by David Aiach in the 13th minute of play. In the 16th match minute, Olímpico FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Osmar Travassos to maneuver through the defense. Gervasio Vela fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Geovânio Hoffmann having to interfere. A collision led to Departamento Deshabitado getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Erasmo Bermudez hit a great ball. In the 27th minute, Osmar Travassos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Blair Goodwin came up free with the goalie in the 29th minute, the Departamento Deshabitado fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Blair Goodwin couldn't finish the play. After 30 played minutes Departamento Deshabitado got a freekick which was hit by Erasmo Bermudez. Geovânio Hoffmann showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gervasio Vela in the 32nd minute of the match. Gervasio Vela might have been able to make a better finish in the 39th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Geovânio Hoffmann. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gervasio Vela ran back to his position shaking his head. Gervasio Vela struck a weak shot in the 42nd minute. Geovânio Hoffmann didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Departamento Deshabitado. When Gervasio Vela came up free with the goalie in the 47th minute, the Departamento Deshabitado fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gervasio Vela couldn't finish the play. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The wind increased when Gervasio Vela made the kick off in the second half. In the 56th match minute, Departamento Deshabitado was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cristobal Loreto to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Olímpico FC booed when Departamento Deshabitado was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Erasmo Bermudez didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Departamento Deshabitado's zone, Abel Carvalho stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. 邓真义 came out of the goal and Abel Carvalho tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 71st minute Gervasio Vela shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Geovânio Hoffmann saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 74 minutes into the match, Gervasio Vela dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Geovânio Hoffmann, 0-1. In the 79th minute, Gildo Linares hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Erasmo Bermudez took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 80th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Geovânio Hoffmann. Olímpico FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Jeronimo Manni might have been able to make a better finish in the 81st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Geovânio Hoffmann. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jeronimo Manni ran back to his position shaking his head. Geovânio Hoffmann showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jeronimo Manni in the 84th minute of the match. When Erasmo Bermudez was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 86 minutes had been played. After a rather tough play, Departamento Deshabitado's Erasmo Bermudez got a free kick in the 87th minute. After some careless play in the Departamento Deshabitado defense, Lucas Dias kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of 邓真义. The Departamento Deshabitado fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that 邓真义 should have stopped the shot.
