Silban Arroyuelo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nickolai Nickerson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 24 minutes into the match, Nickolai Nickerson notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Каблешково's Silban Arroyuelo. Silban Arroyuelo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 35thth minute of the game Nickolai Nickerson who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Каблешково's Silban Arroyuelo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Silban Arroyuelo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nickolai Nickerson in the 37th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Silban Arroyuelo saved Каблешково from getting behind. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Silban Arroyuelo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Silban Arroyuelo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nickolai Nickerson in the 39th minute of play. After taking down the ball on Étoile Sportive Du Sahel's corner Vladimir Capixaba fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Silban Arroyuelo quite easily take care of the ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

Каблешково's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Étoile Sportive Du Sahel the free kick. The supporters of Étoile Sportive Du Sahel booed when Каблешково was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ginyo Glavov didn't get a good kick on the ball.
