FC Ruscova's Dominik Kosakowski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Avram Panaiteanu in the 10th minute of play. Carpathian Wolves were awarded a corner in the 11th minute after FC Ruscova's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Leszek Pisarczyk took the corner. Olimpiu Hârlău stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ciro Cortez's shot from short distance in the 15th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ciro Cortez in the 17th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Olimpiu Hârlău saved Carpathian Wolves from getting behind. Carpathian Wolves's Olimpiu Hârlău proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 19th minute of the match, managed to save Carpathian Wolves from getting a goal against them. Zachary Snaza came free with the goalkeeper in the 29th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Olimpiu Hârlău could save by the left post. If Avram Panaiteanu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ciro Cortez in the 34th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Olimpiu Hârlău prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience was convinced that Ciro Cortez's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Olimpiu Hârlău was relentless in the 34th minute of the game. In the last second Olimpiu Hârlău throw himself and got hold of the ball when Ciro Cortez in the 35thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. The audience was convinced that Ciro Cortez's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Olimpiu Hârlău was relentless in the 35th minute of the game. The supporters of FC Ruscova booed when Carpathian Wolves was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leszek Pisarczyk didn't get a good kick on the ball. Carpathian Wolves's Olimpiu Hârlău proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 47th minute of the match, managed to save Carpathian Wolves from getting a goal against them. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Avram Panaiteanu stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Olimpiu Hârlău stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ciro Cortez's shot from short distance in the 57th minute. 59 minutes into the match, Carpathian Wolves's goal looked a bit too open when Ciro Cortez came free, but Olimpiu Hârlău reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After taking down the ball on Carpathian Wolves's corner Sergiu Oloieru fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Dominik Kosakowski quite easily take care of the ball. 66 minutes into the match, Sergiu Oloieru dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Dominik Kosakowski, 1-1. After a defensive mix-up in FC Ruscova's zone, Avram Panaiteanu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dominik Kosakowski came out of the goal and Avram Panaiteanu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ciro Cortez in the 71st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Olimpiu Hârlău saved Carpathian Wolves from getting behind. In the 73rd minute of the match FC Ruscova got a corner. Carpathian Wolves's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Jens-Erik Forsberg ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Jens-Erik Forsberg got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Olimpiu Hârlău quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Carpathian Wolves's Olimpiu Hârlău played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by René Orságh in the 76th minute of play. When FC Ruscova's Ciro Cortez in the 76th minute got a chance for a shot 76th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Carpathian Wolves's goalie prevented a goal. After some careless play in the Carpathian Wolves defense, Ciro Cortez kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Olimpiu Hârlău. The Carpathian Wolves fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Olimpiu Hârlău should have stopped the shot. Olimpiu Hârlău stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ciro Cortez's shot from short distance in the 80th minute. Olimpiu Hârlău took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from René Orságh, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 84th match minute, Carpathian Wolves was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sergiu Oloieru to maneuver through the defense. After 85 played minutes Carpathian Wolves got a freekick which was hit by Sergiu Oloieru. Olimpiu Hârlău made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ciro Cortez in the 87th minute of play. In the 93rd minute Ciro Cortez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Olimpiu Hârlău saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
