Artzai Tarin stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jacinto de Lara's shot from short distance in the 17th minute. After 19 minutes Orgullo's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Clemente Pires who took care of the corner kick. If Manole Cristoiu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. PIRATAS TFP's Antônio Borges played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Manole Cristoiu in the 20th minute of play. 26 minutes into the game, Manole Cristoiu cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Antônio Borges was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Antônio Borges showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Manole Cristoiu, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. 32 minutes into the match, Orgullo's goal looked a bit too open when Jacinto de Lara came free, but Artzai Tarin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. PIRATAS TFP's Antônio Borges played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Manole Cristoiu in the 33rd minute of play. The PIRATAS TFP fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Antônio Borges should have stopped the shot. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

Jacinto de Lara recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Mario Zapatero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 64 minutes into the match, Orgullo's Manole Cristoiu sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Antônio Borges narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When the match had gone on for 68 minutes, Clemente Pires took a quick shot and it went in 3-1 without a chance for Artzai Tarin to make any attempt to save it. 71 minutes into the match, PIRATAS TFP's Jacinto de Lara sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Artzai Tarin narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 73 minutes into the match, PIRATAS TFP's goal looked a bit too open when Manole Cristoiu came free, but Antônio Borges reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Antônio Borges took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Manole Cristoiu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 75 minutes into the game, PIRATAS TFP's Jacinto de Lara nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Artzai Tarin made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-2. Antônio Borges didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Manole Cristoiu went, in the 87th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-2 was the resulting score. The supporters of Orgullo booed when PIRATAS TFP was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gerson de Barros didn't get a good kick on the ball. For all the effort they put into the match, the PIRATAS TFP players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Orgullo.
