Andres Abascal's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Anacleto Horado read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 46th minute of play. The first half was very even, with the score at 2-2 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Anacleto Horado stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Eulalio Dubardo's shot from short distance in the 56th minute. Anacleto Horado was left in no man's land by his defense there! 61 minutes into the game, Los Gallos's Vladimiro Jerold nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Robustiano Nardo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eulalio Dubardo in the 70th minute of play forced Los Gallos's goalkeeper Anacleto Horado to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Anacleto Horado took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Andres Abascal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Anacleto Horado came out of the goal in the 77th minute to try and stop a shot by EL CHINGOLO P C's Romeo Alfonso. But to his dismay, Romeo Alfonso quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-4. Los Gallos's Anacleto Horado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eulalio Dubardo in the 81st minute of play. After 83 minutes Los Gallos's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Doru Popescu who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Andres Abascal almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Los Gallos's Anacleto Horado did a great save. After 86 played minutes Los Gallos got a freekick which was hit by Muni Cero. In the 89th minute, Vladimiro Jerold got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eulalio Dubardo in the 91st minute of play forced Los Gallos's goalkeeper Anacleto Horado to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Eulalio Dubardo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Anacleto Horado read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 97th minute of play. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
