With an all-out effort, Granate's Paul Wallin threw himself towards the right post 8 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Jaakko Ramstadius, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Jaakko Ramstadius's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Paul Wallin read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 15th minute of play. The corner ended in Enzo Hermon almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but FC Mackan United's Paul Wallin did a great save. 18 minutes into the match, Granate's goal looked a bit too open when Osvald Borre came free, but Jonathan Palmquist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bertil Sundén scored 0-1 in the 20th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jonathan Palmquist, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Linus Persson charged in rather forcefully in the 22nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Linus Persson the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 22 played minutes FC Mackan United got a freekick which was hit by Linus Persson. With a little luck, FC Mackan United's Paul Wallin got control of the ball when Christos Triantafyllou tried to sneak it across the goal line. Jonathan Palmquist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Osvald Borre in the 26th minute of the match. Jaakko Ramstadius sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Osvaldo Euloxu lost his temper 33 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In the 34th minute, Osvaldo Euloxu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 36th match minute, Granate was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Enzo Hermon to maneuver through the defense. 37 minutes into the game, FC Mackan United's Marcus Sjögren nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jonathan Palmquist made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. In the 40th match minute, Granate was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Donato Lekubegi to maneuver through the defense. Jonathan Palmquist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcus Sjögren in the 42nd minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Leukothoe Sakelaris got free with Paul Wallin in the 45th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Osvald Borre in the 60th minute of play forced Granate's goalkeeper Jonathan Palmquist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 63rd minute, Christos Triantafyllou hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Granate's Leukothoe Sakelaris got a good chance for a goal in the 65th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Leukothoe Sakelaris received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Paul Wallin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. FC Mackan United made a substitution. Edward Lenberg replaced Marcus Sjögren. FC Mackan United's Yu Peng Jun was substituted for Osvald Borre. FC Mackan United made a substitution. A nice corner shot did that Yu Peng Jun got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Jonathan Palmquist quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. The FC Mackan United players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
