Robert Kirby received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Serbülent Baysan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Victorino Peake in the 19th minute of play forced Granate's goalkeeper Jonathan Palmquist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Victorino Peake's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jonathan Palmquist was relentless in the 20th minute of the game. The audience thought a goal was coming when Christos Triantafyllou got free with Serbülent Baysan in the 22nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Baumar Ontanilla fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Palmquist having to interfere. After a rather tough play, FC Anderlecht Huachipato's Baumar Ontanilla got a free kick in the 34th minute. Serbülent Baysan stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Christos Triantafyllou's shot from short distance in the 35th minute. Jonathan Palmquist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Baumar Ontanilla in the 37th minute of play. Serbülent Baysan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jaakko Ramstadius in the 39th minute of the match. Serbülent Baysan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Christos Triantafyllou, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. A collision led to FC Anderlecht Huachipato getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Victorino Peake hit a great ball. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Christos Triantafyllou to strike the kick off in the second half. If Jaakko Ramstadius had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 50th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 53rd minute Maximino Astudillo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Palmquist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 54th minute FC Anderlecht Huachipato were awarded a corner. Hernán Diaz went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Hernán Diaz got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Jonathan Palmquist quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 59 minutes into the match, FC Anderlecht Huachipato's goal looked a bit too open when Leukothoe Sakelaris came free, but Serbülent Baysan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. FC Anderlecht Huachipato made a substitution. Alexandrino Gameiro replaced Baumar Ontanilla. FC Anderlecht Huachipato's Felix Txilar was substituted for Maximino Astudillo. After taking down the ball on Granate's corner Enzo Hermon fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Serbülent Baysan quite easily take care of the ball. Eufemio Ehijo who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 79thth minute tested the skills of Jonathan Palmquist when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Granate's defense didn't have a chance, in the 84th minute, when Alexandrino Gameiro scored to the left of an out of position Jonathan Palmquist, making the score, 0-1.
