In the 5th minute, • REGINA •'s Csaba Markovits ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Vitor Cordoba. Vitor Cordoba yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Joseph Joestar in the 9th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dobromir Szarmach prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Joseph Joestar in the 9th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dobromir Szarmach saved • REGINA • from getting behind. In the 12th minute of the match, Laureano Primeiro tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Vitor Cordoba saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. 13 minutes into the game, Arnaldo Bernaldo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. • REGINA •'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Litoral EC - CIMZ the free kick. The supporters of Litoral EC - CIMZ booed when • REGINA • was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arnaldo Bernaldo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dobromir Szarmach took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joseph Joestar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dobromir Szarmach showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dagoberto Custódio, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. 17 minutes had been played when some careless play by • REGINA •'s defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. After a rather tough play, Litoral EC - CIMZ's William Batista got a free kick in the 18th minute. In the 21st minute Joseph Joestar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dobromir Szarmach saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A nice corner shot did that Jonathan Petri got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Dobromir Szarmach quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 37 minutes into the match, • REGINA •'s goal looked a bit too open when Joseph Joestar came free, but Dobromir Szarmach reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Vitor Cordoba made an important save on a dangerous shot by Serafino Bazil in the 38th minute. • REGINA •'s Dobromir Szarmach played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jonathan Petri in the 39th minute of play. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jeremias Lehoi stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Dobromir Szarmach showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Steven Bergwijn, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. If Steven Bergwijn had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. With a little luck, • REGINA •'s Dobromir Szarmach got control of the ball when Steven Bergwijn tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 57 minutes of play, • REGINA •'s Jeremias Lehoi made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Vitor Cordoba was left in no man's land by his defense there! 62 minutes into the game, Steven Bergwijn recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Dobromir Szarmach. Steven Bergwijn showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-1. The crowd rose to their feet as Litoral EC - CIMZ's Steven Bergwijn slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Dobromir Szarmach. That made the score 2-2 after 65 minutes of play. Steven Bergwijn could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 68th minute of the match, but Dobromir Szarmach made a huge save. In the 70th minute of the match Litoral EC - CIMZ got a corner. • REGINA •'s goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Jonathan Petri ran over to the corner to take the kick. Jonas Verdonckt's late challenge caught a Litoral EC - CIMZ's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jonas Verdonckt helped the player get up and apologised. Steven Bergwijn who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 74thth minute tested the skills of Dobromir Szarmach when he managed to save the team from getting behind.
