When the match had gone on for 35 minutes, Prospero Hug took a quick shot and it went in 3-0 without a chance for Xorxe Viguera to make any attempt to save it. In the 37th minute, Atletico Saladillo FC's Gogo Astigar ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Xorxe Viguera. Xorxe Viguera yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 4-0. After 40 played minutes Atletico Saladillo FC got a freekick which was hit by Fabian Abecia. Erland Sagbakken took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hamdullah Özerdal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 45 minutes into the game, Gaudencio Chorche cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-0. Xorxe Viguera was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Hamdullah Özerdal was the one to do the kick off. Xorxe Viguera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gabriel Corderro in the 52nd minute of play. When Atletico Saladillo FC's Gabriel Corderro in 54 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot.
