FORTALEZA's attentive Egor Zabarenko managed to snatch the ball when Boris Berglund made a throw-in in the 3rd minute of the game. Xorxe Viguera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Colas Morales in the 9th minute of play. 12 minutes into the match, Hagfors's goalkeeper Mariusz Bejgier had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Stoyo Kamenarski. After some fancy dribbling in the 14th minute, Colas Morales managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hagfors's supporters rose to their feet, but Colas Morales was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Xorxe Viguera breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Hagfors's Kåre Hermansson got a free kick in the 15th minute. Xorxe Viguera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Colas Morales, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Herminio Emmanuel's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Xorxe Viguera read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 19th minute of play. If Colas Morales had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 34thth minute of the game Stoyo Kamenarski who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Hagfors's Mariusz Bejgier was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Xorxe Viguera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Colas Morales, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. If Zhan Yang had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Konrad Arenberg kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. The FORTALEZA players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Hagfors were winning 0-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Herminio Emmanuel made a kick off. Vincent Damm got a throw-in 54 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Colas Morales. In the 56th minute of the match Hagfors got a corner. FORTALEZA's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Herminio Emmanuel ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Herminio Emmanuel almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but FORTALEZA's Xorxe Viguera did a great save. When Vincent Damm fell near the penalty area in the 59th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Hagfors's protests and gave Vincent Damm a yellow card for diving instead. After 59 played minutes Hagfors got a freekick which was hit by Vincent Damm. Xorxe Viguera made a fantastic save in the 62nd minute, when Herminio Emmanuel sent off a good shot on target. In the 63rd minute of the match, Colas Morales tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Xorxe Viguera saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Stoyo Kamenarski in the 64th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mariusz Bejgier saved Hagfors from getting behind. A collision led to Hagfors getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Kåre Hermansson hit a great ball. Egor Zabarenko struck a weak shot in the 67th minute. Mariusz Bejgier didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FORTALEZA. FORTALEZA's Xorxe Viguera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Herminio Emmanuel in the 72nd minute of play. Mariusz Bejgier showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pascal Nouma in the 73rd minute of the match. 79 minutes into the match, FORTALEZA's goalkeeper Xorxe Viguera had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Herminio Emmanuel. FORTALEZA made a substitution. Genady Lagutov replaced Dmitry Yakubovsky. FORTALEZA made a substitution. Zbyszko Tusk replaced Adrian Salvidor. FORTALEZA's Xorxe Viguera proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 85th minute of the match, managed to save FORTALEZA from getting a goal against them. The audience thought a goal was coming when Herminio Emmanuel got free with Xorxe Viguera in the 90th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 91st minute Colas Morales shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Xorxe Viguera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Xorxe Viguera made an important save on a dangerous shot by Herminio Emmanuel in the 96th minute. The Hagfors players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
