Lech Max's Otsoko Balmaceda got a good chance for a goal in the 4th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Otsoko Balmaceda blasted a shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Matias Taffarel having to make a save. Matias Taffarel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Otsoko Balmaceda in the 5th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Washington Netto got free with Gwidon Dubilas in the 7th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some fancy dribbling in the 8th minute, Pastor Pio managed to get in a good position for a shot. . SC Manhattan .'s supporters rose to their feet, but Pastor Pio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gwidon Dubilas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Otsoko Balmaceda in the 10th minute of play forced . SC Manhattan .'s goalkeeper Matias Taffarel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gwidon Dubilas made an important save on a dangerous shot by Pastor Pio in the 13th minute. In the 18th minute, Otsoko Balmaceda ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Matias Taffarel was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Matias Taffarel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Otsoko Balmaceda, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. 21 minutes into the match, Norbert Kolacki had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Matias Taffarel. . To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pastor Pio in the 38th minute of play forced Lech Max's goalkeeper Gwidon Dubilas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Matias Taffarel came out of the goal in the 44th minute to try and stop a shot by Lech Max's Norbert Kolacki. But to his dismay, Norbert Kolacki quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Chico Valadares could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 47th minute of the match, but Gwidon Dubilas made a huge save. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Otsoko Balmaceda to make the kick off. . SC Manhattan .'s Matias Taffarel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Otsoko Balmaceda in the 56th minute of play. Otsoko Balmaceda received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Matias Taffarel came out and tried to block the shot, but Otsoko Balmaceda slotted it home off the left post making it 0-4 in the 56th minute. After a rather tough play, . SC Manhattan .'s Pastor Pio got a free kick in the 58th minute. In the 59th minute of the match Norbert Kolacki shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Matias Taffarel showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 62 minutes into the match, Lech Max's goal looked a bit too open when Pastor Pio came free, but Gwidon Dubilas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Chico Valadares scored 1-4 in the 72nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gwidon Dubilas, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Otsoko Balmaceda struck a weak shot in the 77th minute. Matias Taffarel didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lech Max. Matias Taffarel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Otsoko Balmaceda in the 81st minute of play. 83 minutes into the match, Lech Max's goal looked a bit too open when Washington Netto came free, but Gwidon Dubilas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 84 minutes Lech Max's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Pastor Pio who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on . SC Manhattan .'s corner Pastor Pio fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Gwidon Dubilas quite easily take care of the ball. Matias Taffarel stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Otsoko Balmaceda's shot from short distance in the 90th minute. In the 93rd minute Chico Valadares shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gwidon Dubilas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Lech Max supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Lech Max would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
