Berlin fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Laurent Frister should have stopped the shot. If Attila Kertész had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Laurent Frister made a fantastic save in the 25th minute, when Attila Kertész sent off a good shot on target. Attila Kertész kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. Goianésia E.C's Norbert Balonek played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Julius Bechstein in the 33rd minute of play. Hans Reese kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in SC Wacker 04 e.V. Berlin's zone, Mark Faiko stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Laurent Frister came out of the goal and Mark Faiko tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Mark Faiko received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Laurent Frister tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 45th match minute, SC Wacker 04 e.V. Berlin was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jan Langmaier to maneuver through the defense. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

In the 52nd match minute, SC Wacker 04 e.V. Berlin was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Max Pentz to maneuver through the defense. Goianésia E.C's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tomasz Poniewaz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 65th match minute, Goianésia E.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ronaldinho Bruchon to maneuver through the defense. Matteo Kasseckert charged in rather forcefully in the 77th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Matteo Kasseckert the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 77 played minutes SC Wacker 04 e.V. Berlin got a freekick which was hit by Matteo Kasseckert. Jan Langmaier who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 83rdth minute tested the skills of Norbert Balonek when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 90 minutes into the game, Mark Faiko cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Laurent Frister was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.
