Spectators: 159 (Terracing: 120, Seating: 36, VIP seats: 3) Fiume Veneto's Alfredo Tornese started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After some careless play in the Fiume Veneto defense, Eusko Zubicoeta kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Domenico Forlano. The Fiume Veneto fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Domenico Forlano should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eusko Zubicoeta in the 8th minute of play forced Fiume Veneto's goalkeeper Domenico Forlano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 9 minutes had been played when some careless play by Fiume Veneto's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Cornelio Omero was slow to take the kick. During this time EBK's players had a chance to rest. A collision led to Fiume Veneto getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Andrea Natalucci hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cornelio Omero in the 19th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Domenico Forlano saved Fiume Veneto from getting behind. Federico Fanfarone hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 22nd minute, Cornelio Omero managed to get in a good position for a shot. EBK's supporters rose to their feet, but Cornelio Omero was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Domenico Forlano breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Domenico Forlano came out of the goal in the 29th minute to try and stop a shot by EBK's Eusko Zubicoeta. But to his dismay, Eusko Zubicoeta quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. After some careless play in the Fiume Veneto defense, Cornelio Omero kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Domenico Forlano. The Fiume Veneto fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Domenico Forlano should have stopped the shot. Fiume Veneto's Domenico Forlano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Flavio Colon in the 37th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Damiano Mancini got free with Marcelo Quexada in the 41st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 42nd play minutes Cornelio Omero shot 0-6, a short shot which went by Domenico Forlano and just under the crossbar into goal. When EBK's Cornelio Omero in the 46th minute got a chance for a shot 46th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Fiume Veneto's goalie prevented a goal. In the 47th minute the ball was on its way in behind Fiume Veneto's goalkeeper Domenico Forlano, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 48 minutes Fiume Veneto's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Cornelio Omero who took care of the corner kick. After the first half EBK were leading 0-6. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Cornelio Omero stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When Eusko Zubicoeta fell near the penalty area in the 58th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored EBK's protests and gave Eusko Zubicoeta a yellow card for diving instead. Eusko Zubicoeta hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. In the 62nd minute, Cornelio Omero reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Domenico Forlano. The goal made the score 0-9. 68 minutes into the match, Betinho Carvalho dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Domenico Forlano, 0-10. After a rather tough play, EBK's Betinho Carvalho got a free kick in the 70th minute. 77 minutes into the match, Flavio Colon dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Domenico Forlano, 0-11. Cornelio Omero took the ball and in the 80 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Domenico Forlano. Domenico Forlano dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-12. Betinho Carvalho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Domenico Forlano came out of the goal in the 88th minute to try and stop a shot by EBK's Cornelio Omero. But to his dismay, Cornelio Omero quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-14. If Flavio Colon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 93rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Fiume Veneto's goalkeeper Domenico Forlano, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Domenico Forlano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lisandro Martínez de Aldunate in the 94th minute of play. If Dominic Forcat had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the final whistle sounded EBK left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Fiume Veneto.
