Joachim Engelund was slow to take the kick. During this time Oslo City FC's players had a chance to rest. In the 8th minute of the match Jakob Øksendal shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Zygmunt Koprowski showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Zygmunt Koprowski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vegard Bruvoll, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. If Maxim Sfetcu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Zygmunt Koprowski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vegard Bruvoll in the 20th minute of the match. Oslo City FC were awarded a corner in the 24th minute after BVB 09's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Joachim Engelund took the corner. The corner led Oslo City FC's Joachim Engelund to fire away a dangerous shot which Zygmunt Koprowski despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. If Geir-Inge Skulstad had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Zygmunt Koprowski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Elof Gustafsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Elof Gustafsson in the 31st minute of play forced BVB 09's goalkeeper Zygmunt Koprowski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Oslo City FC's Søren Valen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Maxim Sfetcu in the 33rd minute of play. During this time BVB 09's players had a chance to rest. 39 minutes into the match, Oslo City FC's goal looked a bit too open when Maxim Sfetcu came free, but Søren Valen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of BVB 09 booed when Oslo City FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gilmar Mendes didn't get a good kick on the ball. A hard shot by Lucjan Drugi from long distance, 42 minutes into the match, got Søren Valen's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fu Lin in the 44th minute of play forced BVB 09's goalkeeper Zygmunt Koprowski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Geir-Inge Skulstad made a kick off. Oslo City FC's Søren Valen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Octavian Caragea in the 51st minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 52nd minute, Fu Lin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Oslo City FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Fu Lin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Zygmunt Koprowski breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Zygmunt Koprowski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fu Lin in the 60th minute of play. A collision led to BVB 09 getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Basarab Iorgovan hit a great ball. Zygmunt Koprowski made a fantastic save in the 64th minute, when Elof Gustafsson sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, BVB 09's Edgar Bornescu got a free kick in the 66th minute. Joachim Engelund took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 67th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Zygmunt Koprowski. BVB 09's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Zygmunt Koprowski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fu Lin, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. Elof Gustafsson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 71st minute of the match, but Zygmunt Koprowski made a huge save. After a rather tough play, BVB 09's Sorin Cotuțiu got a free kick in the 74th minute. Zygmunt Koprowski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vegard Bruvoll in the 75th minute of the match. 77 minutes into the match, BVB 09's goal looked a bit too open when Vegard Bruvoll came free, but Zygmunt Koprowski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 79 minutes into the match, Fu Lin notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of BVB 09's Zygmunt Koprowski. Zygmunt Koprowski was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.
