After 13 played minutes Desportivo Lucca MZ got a freekick which was hit by Tadeu da Costa. After a rather tough play, Pacios ClaudioFutbolKlub's Guido Gotzon got a free kick in the 14th minute. In the 19th minute Alfred Gozdowski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emílio Fernandes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 27th minute, Aki Guardo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a little luck, Desportivo Lucca MZ's Emílio Fernandes got control of the ball when Guido Gotzon tried to sneak it across the goal line. The supporters of Pacios ClaudioFutbolKlub booed when Desportivo Lucca MZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jeferson Rocha didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Guido Gotzon got free with Emílio Fernandes in the 47th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Rüknettin Şahin was the one to do the kick off. The Desportivo Lucca MZ fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Emílio Fernandes should have stopped the shot. Jeferson Rocha fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Feliberto Ipar having to interfere. When Rodrigo do Valle fell near the penalty area in the 62nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Desportivo Lucca MZ's protests and gave Rodrigo do Valle a yellow card for diving instead. Emílio Fernandes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Guido Gotzon, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute.
