The audience thought a goal was coming when Gilberto Rancaño got free with Per-Erik Hjortberg in the 3rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 4 minutes into the game, Gilberto Rancaño recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Per-Erik Hjortberg. Gilberto Rancaño showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Per-Erik Hjortberg was a little too slow when Gilberto Rancaño got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 8th minute. The score was now 2-0. Rothwell Park's Per-Erik Hjortberg proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 10th minute of the match, managed to save Rothwell Park from getting a goal against them. Franc Merlot showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adolfo Salvino in the 18th minute of the match. Rothwell Park's defense didn't have a chance, in the 27th minute, when Gilberto Rancaño scored to the left of an out of position Per-Erik Hjortberg, making the score, 3-0. Rothwell Park's Per-Erik Hjortberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gilberto Rancaño in the 39th minute of play. After 42 minutes Rothwell Park's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Hugo Quintana who took care of the corner kick. Joaquim Matute received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Per-Erik Hjortberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

The wind increased when Adolfo Salvino made the kick off in the second half. In the 51st match minute, TiGrEs Fx was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joaquim Matute to maneuver through the defense. Rothwell Park's Teófilo Vilanova shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 52nd minute of play. The shot was stopped by Franc Merlot but with some difficulty. Per-Erik Hjortberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gilberto Rancaño in the 66th minute of play. 71 minutes into the match, Rothwell Park's goal looked a bit too open when Gilberto Rancaño came free, but Per-Erik Hjortberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gilberto Rancaño sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Per-Erik Hjortberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gilberto Rancaño in the 72nd minute of the match. 74 minutes into the game, Gilberto Rancaño cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-0. The corner led Rothwell Park's Sammy Keino to fire away a dangerous shot which Franc Merlot despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Per-Erik Hjortberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gilberto Rancaño, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. Per-Erik Hjortberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joaquim Matute, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Marcos Marcos fell near the penalty area in the 92nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored TiGrEs Fx's protests and gave Marcos Marcos a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to TiGrEs Fx getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Marcos Marcos hit a great ball. When Adolfo Salvino came up free with the goalie in the 96th minute, the Rothwell Park fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Adolfo Salvino couldn't finish the play. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. TiGrEs Fx had won after a very even match.
