In the 5th minute the ball was on its way in behind Glorioso Deportivo Cali's goalkeeper Ivar Bjurström, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 12th minute of the match, Roland Berkes got a very nice opportunity to score, but Ivar Bjurström was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wilfredo Bermudez in the 13th minute of play forced Glorioso Deportivo Cali's goalkeeper Ivar Bjurström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 15th minute Wilfredo Bermudez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ivar Bjurström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Wilfredo Bermudez received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Ivar Bjurström came out and tried to block the shot, but Wilfredo Bermudez slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 19th minute. Máté Béres hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jacindo Baezabal in the 22nd minute of play forced Mesterháza's goalkeeper Zoltán Pataki to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 23 minutes into the match, Mesterháza's goal looked a bit too open when Rigoberto Bastiaro came free, but Zoltán Pataki reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mesterháza's Zoltán Pataki played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rigoberto Bastiaro in the 26th minute of play. 26 minutes into the match, Rigoberto Bastiaro had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Zoltán Pataki. Mesterháza's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Rigoberto Bastiaro was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. Roland Gáspár kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. Glorioso Deportivo Cali's Ivar Bjurström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Márk Czakó in the 33rd minute of play. Glorioso Deportivo Cali's Ivar Bjurström proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 34th minute of the match, managed to save Glorioso Deportivo Cali from getting a goal against them. Mesterháza's János Gerő got a good chance for a goal in the 35th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ivar Bjurström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from János Gerő, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 45th minute of the match Mesterháza got a corner. Glorioso Deportivo Cali's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. János Gerő ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that János Gerő got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Ivar Bjurström quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Roland Berkes made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rigoberto Bastiaro in the 51st minute of play forced Mesterháza's goalkeeper Zoltán Pataki to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After taking down the ball on Glorioso Deportivo Cali's corner Jacindo Baezabal fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Zoltán Pataki quite easily take care of the ball. Bartosz Wicherek could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 58th minute of the match, but Zoltán Pataki made a huge save. Zoltán Pataki made a fantastic save in the 60th minute, when Bartosz Wicherek sent off a good shot on target. Ivar Bjurström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sándor Rácz in the 64th minute of the match. Mesterháza's Zoltán Pataki proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 65th minute of the match, managed to save Mesterháza from getting a goal against them. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rigoberto Bastiaro in the 71st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Zoltán Pataki prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 73 minutes into the match, Glorioso Deportivo Cali's goal looked a bit too open when Márk Czakó came free, but Ivar Bjurström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nicholas Urria could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 74th minute of the match, but Zoltán Pataki made a huge save. Ivar Bjurström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Roland Berkes in the 76th minute of the match. Otsoa Arieta hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rigoberto Bastiaro in the 79th minute of play forced Mesterháza's goalkeeper Zoltán Pataki to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Roland Berkes, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 82 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Ivar Bjurström was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Nicholas Urria fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zoltán Pataki having to interfere. A collision led to Mesterháza getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Domenico Ottavi hit a great ball. After 91 minutes of play, Mesterháza's Wilfredo Bermudez made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ivar Bjurström was left in no man's land by his defense there! Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
