Boleslaw Dres received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Alo Kalenik tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 9 played minutes Stal Sanok got a freekick which was hit by Uriel Ariando. The audience thought a goal was coming when Maarek Vananurm got free with Sune Rudberg in the 14th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Maarek Vananurm could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 17th minute of the match, but Sune Rudberg made a huge save. Stal Sanok's Ari Hakanpää got a good chance for a goal in the 19th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Dorian Lopes kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. Alo Kalenik made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cui Liang Xiong in the 24th minute of play. After 25 minutes Tykhela FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Lin Ang who took care of the corner kick. Sune Rudberg made an important save on a dangerous shot by Fredrik Nordström in the 35th minute. Cui Liang Xiong sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Tykhela FC's Maarek Vananurm got a good chance for a goal in the 54th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Sune Rudberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Maarek Vananurm in the 59th minute of the match. In the 68th minute Ari Hakanpää shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alo Kalenik saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Jaroslaw Filanowski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cihat Cevvals short, quick shot in the 84thth minute got Alo Kalenik to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
