Emilio Osasun charged in rather forcefully in the 21st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zdeněk Zápotocký in the 22nd minute of play forced AD Pontassolense's goalkeeper Marco Bessa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kevin Quintanilha hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. In the 24th minute, Walmir Moraes made a precise shot to the right of Marco Bessa. AD Pontassolense's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Walmir Moraes in the 34th minute of play forced AD Pontassolense's goalkeeper Marco Bessa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 柳凌森 was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 37 minutes into the match. In the 38th match minute, SÃO JORGE FC - CIMZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by 柳凌森 to maneuver through the defense. Anastasios Bouroutzikas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Januário Domingos, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. After 40 minutes of play, SÃO JORGE FC - CIMZ's Alfredinho Machado made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Marco Bessa was left in no man's land by his defense there! 44 minutes into the game, AD Pontassolense's Januário Domingos nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Anastasios Bouroutzikas made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-2. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Januário Domingos made the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute of the match AD Pontassolense got a corner. SÃO JORGE FC - CIMZ's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Januário Domingos ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on AD Pontassolense's corner Giuseppe Catarinense fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Anastasios Bouroutzikas quite easily take care of the ball. 56 minutes into the match, Walmir Moraes notched a goal, 3-3, to the right of AD Pontassolense's Marco Bessa. Marco Bessa was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The crowd rose to their feet as Alfredinho Machado kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Marco Bessa. That made the score 3-4 in the 59 minute of play. If Walmir Moraes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. SÃO JORGE FC - CIMZ's Leandro Saldanha was substituted for Alfredinho Machado. Henrique Onofre kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. Leandro Saldanha struck a weak shot in the 71st minute. Marco Bessa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SÃO JORGE FC - CIMZ. The audience thought a goal was coming when Walmir Moraes got free with Marco Bessa in the 75th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Marco Bessa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leandro Saldanha in the 77th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kevin Quintanilha in the 80th minute of play forced SÃO JORGE FC - CIMZ's goalkeeper Anastasios Bouroutzikas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 81st minute Kevin Quintanilha shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anastasios Bouroutzikas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Anastasios Bouroutzikas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Henrique Onofre, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Anastasios Bouroutzikas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rogério Bettencourt, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. SÃO JORGE FC - CIMZ had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
