Stephan Lentini hit a great ball. A hard shot by Kevin Skarkman from long distance, 3 minutes into the match, got Pankracy Zawacki's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Börje Albohm made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ildefonso Fliz in the 4th minute of play. In the 8th minute Ildefonso Fliz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Börje Albohm saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 8 minutes into the match, Baxters Boys's goal looked a bit too open when Ildefonso Fliz came free, but Börje Albohm reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Gilbert Incorvaia came up free with the goalie in the 12th minute, the Meerkats FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gilbert Incorvaia couldn't finish the play. Börje Albohm made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from 郑奕明 in the 20th minute of play. Börje Albohm showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from 郑奕明, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Baxters Boys's zone, 郑奕明 stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Börje Albohm came out of the goal and 郑奕明 tried to chip the ball over his head. Baxters Boys's Börje Albohm played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by 郑奕明 in the 34th minute of play. Pankracy Zawacki made an important save on a dangerous shot by John Guidetti in the 36th minute. Börje Albohm took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alfred Coleiro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gilbert Incorvaia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Börje Albohm having to interfere. 44 minutes into the match, Baxters Boys's goal looked a bit too open when Ildefonso Fliz came free, but Börje Albohm reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 46th minute Frank Novella shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pankracy Zawacki saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ildefonso Fliz made a kick off. After having played for 51 minutes, Ildefonso Fliz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Meerkats FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ildefonso Fliz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Through an outstanding action, after 56 minutes, Börje Albohm successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Meerkats FC were awarded a corner in the 58th minute after Baxters Boys's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Shaun De Battista took the corner. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Baxters Boys's goalie and right to Andrè Tedesco. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Baxters Boys's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Ildefonso Fliz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 86th minute of the match, but Börje Albohm made a huge save. In the 96th minute 郑奕明 shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Börje Albohm saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Meerkats FC played a much better game than Baxters Boys and deserved their victory. The Baxters Boys players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
