The audience thought it was a sure goal in the 14th minute, when Victorica AFC's Edelmiro Lastur after having done a great run through the defense got himself free with 姜光勇 in 【粤】佛山黄飞鸿龙狮队's goal and fired away a shot, but it missed the goal by a fraction of an inch. 17 minutes into the game, Cesare Antonacci cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Leonel Chan was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The supporters of 【粤】佛山黄飞鸿龙狮队 booed when Victorica AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ovidio Maties didn't get a good kick on the ball. Leonel Chan didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cesare Antonacci went, in the 21st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. After a defensive mix-up in Victorica AFC's zone, Cesare Antonacci stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Leonel Chan came out of the goal and Cesare Antonacci tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Lee Librovich had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ezequiel Peruxu got free with 姜光勇 in the 29th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 乔珂光 kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cesare Antonacci in the 35th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Leonel Chan saved Victorica AFC from getting behind. 【粤】佛山黄飞鸿龙狮队 were awarded a corner in the 36th minute after Victorica AFC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Lee Librovich took the corner. 姜光勇 showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Amancio Madaleno, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Cesare Antonacci stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Cesare Antonacci could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 52nd minute of the match, but Leonel Chan made a huge save. Cesare Antonacci recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Vágner Britto replaced Cesare Antonacci. 汪皓卫 charged in rather forcefully in the 82nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Ovidio Maties was shown his second yellow card after 95 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 96th minute, Ovidio Maties hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Leonel Chan made a fantastic save in the 97th minute, when Vágner Britto sent off a good shot on target. The 【粤】佛山黄飞鸿龙狮队 supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing 【粤】佛山黄飞鸿龙狮队 would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
