Victorica AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave CA Quake the free kick. The supporters of CA Quake booed when Victorica AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Patricio Pedroso didn't get a good kick on the ball. Benicio Balasi's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Leonel Chan firmly grabbed it by the left post. CA Quake's Silverio Cordearo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Amancio Madaleno in the 22nd minute of play. Andres Ubelteso hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, CA Quake's Ciro Henry got a free kick in the 25th minute. Edelmiro Lastur took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 26th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Silverio Cordearo. CA Quake's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. A throw-in in the 33rd minute of the game was made by Ciro Henry with Abel Inko as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. If Amancio Madaleno had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Amancio Madaleno scored 1-1 in the 43rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Silverio Cordearo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Benicio Balasi to make the kick off. 50 minutes into the match, Benicio Balasi had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Leonel Chan. Victorica AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Benicio Balasi was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. The audience was convinced that Benicio Balasi's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Leonel Chan was relentless in the 57th minute of the game. A well done corner resulted in Igor Hever drilling the ball in to score 2-2 behind CA Quake's goalkeeper. Thanks to some nice moves Ezequiel Peruxu could shoot a difficult shot in the 64th minute, which Silverio Cordearo however easily saved by the left post. Silverio Cordearo made a fantastic save in the 69th minute, when Amancio Madaleno sent off a good shot on target. CA Quake's Jacobo Mouricio was substituted for Victoriano Sustrai. Benicio Balasi might have been able to make a better finish in the 83rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Leonel Chan. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Benicio Balasi ran back to his position shaking his head. Leonel Chan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Andres Ubelteso in the 86th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Benicio Balasi in the 90th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Leonel Chan saved Victorica AFC from getting behind. When CA Quake's Benicio Balasi in the 92nd minute got a chance for a shot 92nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Victorica AFC's goalie prevented a goal. In the 93rd minute, Eduardo Ledesma hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Victorica AFC's Edelmiro Lastur got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
